Lagos, Nigeria

Today is my second day in Lagos, Nigeria.  I came here for business, and was warmly welcomed by the client.  They met me at the airport and took me to my hotel.  I also heard, due to safety issues, in Nigeria picking up your associates or business partners is a must.

The weather reminds me of Nicaragua, just as hot and humid.  Can’t complain, since it is +5C in St.Petersburg and it is +30C here.  Apart from the weather, safety is a concern here.  Being warned about safety  I spend my time meeting with clients and eating out in the Hotel.

Than later today, I got brave enought and decided to venture out to the city.  I wanted to buy me some tradiational African wear, so I went to the local market, together with my collegue Wan Zul.  Now that was a new experience.  The street market stunk soo bad… Cars and bykes were swinging by faster than I had the time to run away from them.  It didn’t feel safe, so after I got what I wanted we rushed back to the Hotel.
